Doors - Rear: WATERSHIELD: Removal: Removal

NOTE:

Always replace the water shield, even if it was removed intact. The adhesive will not guaranty the necessary seal once it has been removed from the inner door.

Remove the door trim panel (1). Refer to PANEL, REAR DOOR TRIM, REMOVAL .
Remove the rear door speaker. Refer to SPEAKER, REMOVAL .

Carefully, detach the adhesive (1) of the water shield (2) from the entire perimeter of the inner door.

Disconnect the wiring routing retainers and route the harnesses (2) through the water shield (3).
Route the latch cable (1) through the water shield (3).
Remove the water shield (3) from the door.
