Diagnostic Test

VERIFY THE DTC IS ACTIVE

NOTE:

Make sure the battery is fully charged before proceeding.

Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, read the active DTCs.
Is the DTC active at this time?

Yes
- Refer to U1702-87-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH EPS and perform the U1702-87-Lost Communication with EPS diagnostic procedure.
No
- Refer to STORED LOST COMMUNICATION DTCS and perform the Stored Lost Communication DTCs diagnostic procedure.
