Front Quarter Glass

Before proceeding with the following repair procedure, review all warnings and cautions. Refer to STATIONARY GLASS, WARNING .

Remove the A-pillar trim. Refer to PANEL, A-PILLAR TRIM, REMOVAL .

NOTE:

To cut the urethane bead with a vibrating cutter, an adequate cutter usage capacity is required, as well as an appropriate choice of blades in accordance with the cutting areas and obstructions present.

1 - T-HANDLE

2 - WINDSHIELD ADHESIVE

3 - COUNTER SUPPORT

4 - CUTTING WIRE

CAUTION:

Be careful not to damage painted surfaces when removing moldings or cutting urethane around the fixed glass/windshield.

Using a windshield cut-out wire or other suitable tool, separate the adhesive.

NOTE:

It will be necessary to cut through three locating pins on the front quarter glass. If installing the existing front quarter glass, the three locating pins are not needed.

Carefully remove front quarter glass.
