Front Quarter Glass
- Before proceeding with the following repair procedure, review all warnings and cautions. Refer to STATIONARY GLASS, WARNING .
- Remove the A-pillar trim. Refer to PANEL, A-PILLAR TRIM, REMOVAL .NOTE:
To cut the urethane bead with a vibrating cutter, an adequate cutter usage capacity is required, as well as an appropriate choice of blades in accordance with the cutting areas and obstructions present.
1 - T-HANDLE 2 - WINDSHIELD ADHESIVE 3 - COUNTER SUPPORT 4 - CUTTING WIRE CAUTION:Be careful not to damage painted surfaces when removing moldings or cutting urethane around the fixed glass/windshield.
Using a windshield cut-out wire or other suitable tool, separate the adhesive.
NOTE:It will be necessary to cut through three locating pins on the front quarter glass. If installing the existing front quarter glass, the three locating pins are not needed.
- Carefully remove front quarter glass.
