Panel, Quarter Trim, Rear: Removal: Removal

Disconnect and isolate.
Remove the liftgate scuff plate (1). Refer to PLATE, SCUFF, LIFTGATE SILL, REMOVAL .
Remove the C-pillar trim panel. Refer to PANEL, C-PILLAR TRIM, REMOVAL .

If servicing the left side, remove the rear storage bin (1).
If servicing the right side, remove the amplifier (2) if so equipped. Refer to AMPLIFIER, REMOVAL .

Remove the liftgate opening and rear door weatherstrips along the quarter trim panel (3) area.
Using trim stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent, disengage the lower retainer and then the upper retainer for the storage hook (4).
Remove the fastener from the storage hook pocket.
Remove the fastener (2) from the cargo D-ring.
Remove the fasteners (1) from the quarter trim panel (3).
Using trim stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent, disengage the retaining clips for the quarter trim panel (3).
Disconnect lighting and auxiliary power outlet wiring connectors, if so equipped.
Remove the quarter trim panel (3) from the vehicle.
