Glass, Liftgate: Removal: Removal
- Before proceeding with the following repair procedure, review all warnings and cautions. Refer to STATIONARY GLASS, WARNING .
- Remove liftgate trim panels. Refer to PANEL, TRIM, LIFTGATE, REMOVAL .
- Remove the liftgate spoiler. Refer to SPOILER, REMOVAL .
- Remove rear window wiper arm, if equipped. Refer to ARM, WIPER, REMOVAL .
- Disconnect the heated liftgate glass electrical connectors, if equipped.
1 - T-HANDLE 2 - WINDSHIELD ADHESIVE 3 - COUNTER SUPPORT 4 - CUTTING WIRE NOTE:Windshield removal shown in illustration, liftgate glass similar.
- Using a windshield cut-out wire or other suitable tool, separate the adhesive.
- Carefully remove liftgate glass.
