Tracing powder can be used to help aid in pinpointing the area of the leak. It is available through many aftermarket automotive suppliers. Apply the tracing powder along weatherstrips, body seams and other areas where the water leak is suspected of coming from. Perform a water leak test in the in the suspected area. Refer to WATER LEAK TESTS . When the water passes over the tracing powder the leak should be pinpointed by the displacement of the tracing powder.
