Filler Neck

- Locate the filler neck (2) of the washer reservoir (1) in the left front corner of the engine compartment.
- Observe the level of the washer fluid through the translucent filler neck and reservoir. If the washer fluid level is above the base of the filler neck, siphon the washer fluid into a clean container for reuse until it is below the base of the filler neck.

- Disengage the filler neck retainer (1) from the top of the radiator cross member by inserting a trim stick or another suitably wide flat-bladed tool between the filler neck (6) and the retainer latch feature (4).
- Twist the tool far enough for the latch feature (5) to clear the locking wedge (3) on the filler neck. Slide the retainer upward on the filler neck far enough to disengage the retention pin (2) from the retention hole in the cross member.
- Slide the retainer upward from the filler neck far enough to disengage the retention pin (2) from the retention hole in the cross member.
- Use a back and forth twisting action to disengage the base of the filler neck from the filler neck fitting on the top of the reservoir.
- Remove the filler neck, retainer and filler cap from the engine compartment as a unit.
