Body - Interior & Exterior - 500L: DECKLID/Hatch/Liftgate/Tailgate: Striker: Removal: Removal

1. Open the liftgate.
2. Remove the liftgate sill scuff plate. Refer to PLATE, SCUFF, LIFTGATE SILL, REMOVAL  .

3. With the use of a grease pencil or equivalent, mark the liftgate striker (1) location to the body sill panel, to aid in installation.
4. Remove the two fasteners (2) from the liftgate striker.
5. Remove the liftgate striker (1) from the sill panel.
