Bezel, Hood: Removal: Removal

Open the hood.
Remove the hood insulator (1). Refer to INSULATION, HOOD, REMOVAL .

Disconnect the windshield washer hoses (1) from the washer nozzles.
Remove the five fasteners (2) securing the hood bezel.

Close the hood.
Slightly and carefully, lift the front edge of the hood bezel (1).
Using trim stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent, release the retainers securing bezel (1) front edges to hood.
Remove the hood bezel (1).
