Prop, Gas, Convertible DECKLID: Removal: Removal

  1. Open the decklid and support.
  2. Using a small flat bladed tool, or equivalent, release the retaining clips while pulling the ball socket away from the ball studs (1, 3).
    NOTE:

    Lift the clips only enough to release the ball studs.

  3. Remove the gas prop/support cylinder (2).
