Cable, Hood Release: Removal: Removal

Remove the fasteners (2) securing the interior latch release (3) and remove the release.

Press the handle down on the interior latch release (2) and remove the cable (1).

Press the handle down on the exterior latch release (1) and remove the cable (2).

Unclip the cable (2) from the retainer located on the inner fender panel.
Pull out the grommet (1) and the cable (2) from the interior into the engine compartment.
Pull the cable (2) from the latch through the front end module in the engine compartment.
Remove the hood release cable (2).
