Diagnostic Test

CHECK IF THE DTC IS ACTIVE

Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?

Yes
- Refer to the DTC INDEX - EXCEPT 500L and perform the U0019-87-CAN B BUS - NO SIGNAL diagnostic procedure.
No
- Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING and perform the STORED LOST COMMUNICATION DTCS diagnostic procedure.
