Diagnostic Test

VERIFY THE DTC IS ACTIVE

Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, read DTCs and record on vehicle work order.
Is this DTC active at this time?

Yes
- Perform the U0001-87-CAN C BUS - NO SIGNAL diagnostic procedure.Refer to BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) - DIAGNOSTIC CODE INDEX - 500E .
No
- Perform the STORED LOST COMMUNICATION DTCS diagnostic procedure.Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING .
