Diagnostic Test

VERIFY THE DTC IS ACTIVE
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. Using the scan tool, read ABS DTCs.
  Is the DTC active at this time?
  
  Yes
  - Go To 2
  No
  - Perform the NO RESPONSE FROM EVCU (ELECTRIC VEHICLE CONTROL UNIT) diagnostic procedure. Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING .
VERIFY THAT THE ELECTRIC VEHICLE CONTROL UNIT (EVCU) IS ACTIVE ON THE BUS
1. Using the scan tool, select Network Diagnostics.
2. Verify that the EVCU is active on the bus.
  Is the EVCU active on the bus?
  
  Yes
  - Go To 3
  No
  - Perform the NO RESPONSE FROM EVCU (ELECTRIC VEHICLE CONTROL UNIT) diagnostic procedure. Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING .
ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) MODULE
1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Replace the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) Module in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to MODULE, ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM, REMOVAL .
3. Perform the ABS VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
4. Turn the ignition on.
5. Using the scan tool, read ABS DTCs.
  Does the DTC remain active?
  
  Yes
  - Replace the Electric Vehicle Control Unit (EVCU) in accordance with service information. Refer to UNIT, ELECTRIC VEHICLE CONTROL (EVCU), REMOVAL .
  - Perform the EVCU VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  No
  - Test complete.
