Gate Select Rest Position Check
The failure is detected if the TCM is not controlling the gate select actuator and the output signal of the gate select actuator position sensor is greater than a calibrated threshold for a calibrated amount of time.
Gate Select Requested Position Check
The failure is detected if the TCM is controlling the gate select actuator and the gate select actuator has failed to reach the TCM requested position for a calibratable number of attempts.
