Enable Conditions for Odd Gears

This diagnostic is performed if the vehicle speed is greater than a threshold, if the gear shift position sensor indicates the gear is disengaged, if the engine speed is equal to the even clutch speed or not equal to the odd clutch speed, if the torque transmitted by the odd clutch is greater than a threshold and if the calculated transmission ratio is stable for a calibrated amount of time.

No electric faults are present on all Gear Shift Position Sensors and no faults are present on Engine Speed CAN message, Odd Clutch Speed, Even Clutch Speed and Driveline Speed.

Enable Conditions for Even Gears

This diagnostic is performed if the vehicle speed is greater than a threshold, if the gear shift position sensor indicates the gear is disengaged, if the engine speed is equal to the odd clutch speed or not equal to the even clutch speed, if the torque transmitted by the even clutch is greater than a threshold and if the calculated transmission ratio is stable for a calibrated amount of time.

No electric faults are present on all Gear Shift Position Sensors and no faults are present on Engine Speed CAN message, Odd Clutch Speed, Even Clutch Speed and Driveline Speed.

Enable Conditions for 1st or Reverse Gear

This diagnostic is performed if the gear shift position sensor indicates that all gears are disengaged.

No electric faults are present on all Gear Shift Position Sensors and no faults are present on Engine Speed CAN message, Odd Clutch Speed, Even Clutch Speed and Driveline Speed.
