Heater, Transmission/Differential: Installation: Installation

CAUTION:

To prevent damage, the power cord must be secured in its retainer clips, and not positioned so it could contact linkages or exhaust manifolds.

  1. Connect the block / transmission heater wiring harness at the fender.

  2. Attach the wiring harness to the support brace.

  3. Raise the vehicle.
  4. Thoroughly clean the transmission case heater cavity.
  5. Install transmission heater element to the transmission case.
  6. Attach the wiring harness to the transaxle case (2).
  7. Connect the power cord plug to engine block heater.
  8. Connect the power cord plug to transmission heater (1).
  9. Install the belly pan.
