Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) 

1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, read active DTCs.

   Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?

   Yes 

   • Refer to U0019-88-CAN B BUS OFF and perform the U0019-88-CAN B BUS OFF diagnostic procedure.

   No 

   • Refer to STORED LOST COMMUNICATION DTCS and perform the Stored Lost Communication DTCs diagnostic procedure.
