Unit, Electric Vehicle Control (EVCU): Operation: Operation

The EVCU performs the following functions:
- LIN network master for the BEV LIN bus
- 12V battery monitoring and regulation-intelligent battery sensor (IBS)
- Thermal control, management and diagnostics
- Radiator fan speed target, control and diagnostics
- Driver demand-accelerator pedal
- Torque control and arbitration
- ePRNDL control and fault strategy
- Interface to BCM wake-up vehicle signals-door open, key position
- High-voltage propulsion readiness-to BCM
- Smart charge-Phone application
- Park lock motor commands and monitoring
- High-voltage contactor command
- Powertrain CAN bus
- Master wake-up for power inverter module, on-board charging module and battery pack control module
