Diagnostic Test

CHECK THE INTAKE SYSTEM
1. Visually inspect the entire intake system, including the all hoses and clamps for any signs of a leak.
  Were any problems found?
  
  Yes
  - Repair the as necessary.
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Go To 2
CHECK THE MAP SENSOR
1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Replace the MAP Sensor in accordance with the service information.
3. Turn the ignition on, engine not running.
4. With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
5. Leave the ignition on for up to five minutes.
  Did the DTC return?
  
  Yes
  - Replace the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) in accordance with the service information. Refer to MODULE, POWERTRAIN CONTROL, REMOVAL .
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Test complete.
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
