Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, read active DTCs.
  Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?
  
  Yes
  - Refer to the DTC INDEX - 500E and perform the U0019-88-CAN B BUS OFF diagnostic procedure.
  No
  - Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING and perform the Stored Lost Communication DTCs diagnostic procedure.
