Cover, Seat Cushion, Front: Disassembly: Disassembly

NOTE:

Passenger seat shown in illustration. Driver seat similar.

  1. Remove the seat bottom cushion and cover from the seat bottom frame. Refer to COVER, SEAT CUSHION, FRONT, REMOVAL  .
  2. Disengage the rear of the seat bottom cover (1) from the seat bottom cushion (2).

  3. Remove the hog rings (2) that secure the seat bottom cover (1) to the seat bottom cushion (3) and remove the cover.
  4. If necessary, remove and discard the heated seat pad from the seat bottom cushion. Refer to PAD, HEATER, REMOVAL .
  5. If necessary, remove and discard the Occupant Detection Sensor (ODS) from the passenger side seat bottom cushion. Refer to SENSOR, OCCUPANT DETECTION, REMOVAL .
