Solenoid, Evaporative Emissions Purge: Removal: Removal

The purge solenoid (2 ) is located in the engine compartment attached to a bracket mounted on the intake manifold (4 ).

1. Disconnect the vapor line at the at the quick disconnect fitting (3).
2. Disconnect the vacuum hose from purge solenoid.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) at the purge solenoid (2).
4. Slide the purge solenoid away from the intake manifold off of the mounting bracket.
