  1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
  2. Remove the HVAC control panel (1). Refer to CONTROL, A/C AND HEATER, REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the screws that secure the lower switch pod (2) to the back of the face plate.
  4. Remove the lower switch pod.
