Powertrain Control Module (PCM)

U0001-HIGH SPEED CAN COMMUNICATION BUS

- When Monitored:
Continuously when the ignition is on.

The battery voltage between 10 and 16 volts.

Body Control Module (BCM) is configured correctly.

- Set Condition:
The controller detects an open, short to ground or a short to voltage on the High Speed CAN Bus circuits.





Diagnostic Test
CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, read DTCs.

Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?

Yes

- Body Control Module (BCM) and perform the U0001-87-CAN C BUS - NO SIGNAL diagnostic procedure.

No

- Stored Lost Communication DTCs and perform the Stored Lost Communication DTCs diagnostic procedure.
