Bezel, Instrument Panel, Center: Removal: Removal

1. Disconnect the negative battery.
2. Remove the A/C control panel. Refer to CONTROL, A/C AND HEATER, REMOVAL .
3. Remove the two screws (1 and 3) that secure center trim bezel (2) to the instrument panel cover.

4. Open the glove box door, remove the center trim bezel retaining screw located on the upper right edge of the glove box cavity.
5. Using Trim Stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent, disengage the retaining clips from the center trim bezel (1).
6. Disconnect the harness from the switch pod and remove the center trim bezel from the vehicle.
