If the customer describes the symptoms, perform the Repair Procedure.

On the exterior of vehicle, inspect the soft top seal (2) for looseness at sides of rear window (1).

Measure distance (2) from rear window (1) to soft top fabric (3) it should be a maximum distance of 14 mm (9/16 in).
Water leak test the vehicle to verify the condition primarily around the exterior sides of the rear window. Nozzle can not be placed closer than 33 cm (13 in) from the window. Hose test should be a minimum of 5 minutes or until water leak is found.
