Parking Brake Switch - Installation

INSTALLATION





1. Position the park brake switch to the park brake lever base bracket (3).
2. Engage the mounting tab (2) at the front of the switch housing into the slot in the base bracket.
3. Engage the metal retainer clip (1) at the back of the switch housing over the edge of the base bracket, then slide clip forward far enough for the clip to engage the groove stamped in the right side of the base bracket.





4. Reinstall the park brake lever mechanism (1) onto the floor panel transmission tunnel. Parking Brake Lever - Installation.
5. Reconnect the battery negative cable.
