Wheel Cylinders: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Use NEW "O" ring between wheel cylinder and backing plate. Tighten wheel cylinder-to-backing plate bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  2. When installing brakeline on wheel cylinder, loosely install brakeline nut on wheel cylinder, then brakeline support bracket. Tighten brakeline-to-wheel cylinder nut to specification once brakeline support bracket is installed. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Bleed brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM  .
