Rear Brake Caliper: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure rear brake caliper-to-adapter sliding surfaces are coated with multipurpose grease before installing rear brake caliper.
  2. Ensure rear brake caliper-to-adapter guide pin bolts not cross-threaded. Tighten all fasteners. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Bleed brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM  . Pump brake pedal several times until brake pedal is firm.
