SRS Warning Light Stays On

  1. Before proceeding, follow air bag service precautions. See SERVICE PRECAUTIONS. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect negative battery cable. Shield cable end. Wait at least 60 seconds before servicing. Remove floor console assembly.
  2. SDUs use two distinct types of connector locks. See Figure and Figure .
  3. Check for continuity between terminal No. 9 of SRS check harness connector No. 5 and Yellow/White wire terminal of DLC (terminal No. 12). See Figure . See SPECIAL TOOLS. If continuity does not exist, replace wiring harness. If continuity exists, replace SDU.
