Roof Glass Panel

  1. Fully close sun roof. Ensure roof glass panel is parallel with roof opening. If roof glass panel parallelism is within .04" (1 mm), go to next step. If parallelism is greater than specification, go to step 4).
  2. Open sun shade and remove side trim strips. See Fig 1 . Lightly pull down on strip to remove. Loosen mounting nuts on each side. Move glass panel as needed. Once panel is correctly adjusted, tighten nuts and install trim strip.
  3. Once forward/backward adjustment has been completed, ensure sliding roof assembly's guide and link reference holes are correctly aligned. See Fig 2 . If reference hole adjustment cannot be corrected, fully closed position of roof glass panel to fully closed position of motor is not correctly indexed. To correct, go to next step.
  4. To correct roof glass panel parallelism, remove motor. See DRIVE MOTOR  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Manually move roof glass panel into fully closed position, parallel with roof opening. Using manual closure wrench (located in tool pouch), rotate drive motor drive gear until mating marks are aligned. See Fig 3 . Install drive motor. If minor adjustment is needed, repeat step 2). Install side trim strips.
