SRS Warning Light Stays On, No Codes Set

  1. Before proceeding, follow air bag service precautions. See SERVICE PRECAUTIONS  . Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect negative battery cable. Shield cable end. Wait at least 60 seconds before servicing. Remove floor console assembly. Disconnect SRS-ECU connector.
  2. Turn ignition on. If SRS warning light does not come on, replace SRS-ECU. If SRS warning light comes on, replace wiring harness between SRS-ECU and instrument cluster.
