Rocker Arm & Valve Lash Adjuster: Installation

  1. Lubricate camshaft lobes and camshaft bearing journals. Install camshaft into cylinder head.
  2. Ensure rocker arms are installed in original location. Tighten camshaft bearing cap bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Coat lip of camshaft oil seal with oil. Install seal into cylinder head using Seal Installer (MD998713 or MD998713-01). To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
