Oil Pump: Inspection

- Inspect components for damage. Using straightedge and feeler gauge, check rotor side clearance. See OIL PUMP SPECIFICATIONS table. Repair or replace as necessary.
- Install outer rotor in pump body. Measure clearance between outer rotor and pump body. See OIL PUMP SPECIFICATIONS table. Repair or replace as necessary.
- Install inner rotor, and measure clearance between inner and outer rotors. See OIL PUMP SPECIFICATIONS table. Repair or replace as necessary.
