Inspection Procedure 2 - No Scan Tool Communication With ECM
NOTE:

NOTE:
Possible causes are: defective ECM power supply circuit, open circuit between ECM and data link connector or defective ECM.
- Check for defective terminals or connections on 12-pin ECM connector B-55. The ECM is located below instrument panel, just in front of center console. Check for defective terminals or connections at connectors B-08 and B-63. See Figure .
- If connector or terminals are defective, repair as necessary. If connectors and terminals are okay, check wiring harness between data link connector and ECM.
- If wiring harness is defective, repair as necessary. If wiring harness is okay, check power supply and ignition switch IG system. Perform INSPECTION PROCEDURE 23.
