Removal (2WD With Stabilizer Bar Link)

  1. Disconnect exhaust pipe at exhaust manifold. Remove brace bolted to bottom of crossmember No. 1. Remove installation bolt at rear of crossmember No. 2. See Figure.
  2. Remove stabilizer bar link nuts at control arm and stabilizer bar. See Figure. Remove stabilizer bar link. Remove stabilizer bar mounting bracket bolts. Remove mounting bracket and bushing.
  3. Move both ends of stabilizer bar rearward. Move right end of stabilizer bar until it clears control arm, and pull stabilizer bar from vehicle.
