Rack & Pinion: Installation

To install, reverse removal procedure. An assistant will be needed in vehicle to guide steering column coupling onto rack and pinion. Ensure master serrations align. Install right rear crossmember bolt first. Tighten crossmember mounting bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Check and adjust toe-in. See appropriate WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS & PROCEDURES article in WHEEL ALIGNMENT section. Refer to the following list.
