Removal (2WD)

  1. Drain engine oil. Remove crossmember near transaxle end of oil pan. Disconnect exhaust pipe at exhaust manifold.
  2. Remove oil pan bolts. Install Oil Pan Remover (MD998727) between oil pan and cylinder block to break sealant from cylinder block. Remove oil pan. Clean sealant from block and oil pan.
NOTE: Rest engine on engine mount before tightening crossmember mount through bolt.
