Cylinder Head: Inspection

Check cylinder head for warpage. Resurface head if warpage exceeds .002" (.05 mm) on deck surface. DO NOT  grind more than .008" (.20 mm) combined total from surface of cylinder head and deck surface of cylinder block. Check intake manifold mounting surface for warpage. Repair as necessary if warpage exceeds .0059" (.150 mm).
