Drive Shaft: Removal

Remove center support bearing bolts. Note number and arrangement of spacers and insulators used with center support bearings for reassembly reference. See Figure . Make mating marks on drive shaft yoke and differential flange for reassembly reference. Lower rear of drive shaft just enough to clear differential. Pull drive shaft rearward, using care not to damage rubber boot on constant velocity joint.
