Removal (FWD Vehicles)

  1. Remove brake caliper and rotor. See REAR BRAKE CALIPER, PADS & ROTOR under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Remove hub cap, wheel bearing nut and washer. Discard wheel bearing nut.
  2. On vehicles with anti-lock brakes, carefully remove rear speed sensor, ensuring speed sensor pole piece does not contact any other components. On all models, remove hub and bearing assembly from axle shaft.
