Front Brake Caliper, Pads & Rotor: Removal

Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheels. Remove caliper guide pin and lock pin. See Figure . Lift caliper and wire aside. (If removing caliper, loosen flared brakeline nut and remove caliper and hose.) Remove brake pads and pad clips, noting order of parts removed. Remove caliper mounting bracket and rotor.
