VMM Self-Diagnostics Test

  1. To activate self-diagnostics mode, simultaneously press and hold the CHECK and LIST switches, then turn ignition switch to RUN position. With these switches pressed, turn ignition switch to ON position. Diagnostic program will start and loop continuously.
  2. To exit diagnostic mode, simultaneously press the CHECK and LIST switches. There are 2 modes for diagnostic program: automatic mode and manual. Modes can be changed by pressing ENGLISH/METRIC switch. Press ENGLISH mode for diagnostic program to run in automatic mode. Press METRIC mode for diagnostic program to run in manual mode.
  3. In automatic mode, program will automatically perform all tests in sequence. Automatic sequence of tests will repeat until diagnostic routine is exited. In manual mode, each test will be performed individually and will only progress to next test when CHECK switch is pressed.
