Test 2

  1. Tests 2 and 3 check ambient air temperature sensor and speed input circuits. Press the ENGLISH/METRIC switch to ENGLISH. The trip computer will display condition of temperature indicator lights.
  2. If a failure of ambient air temperature sensor input is detected, letters "CO" will display for an open circuit. Letters "CS" will display for a short circuit. If there is no failure, instantaneous temperature will be displayed.
