Trip Computer Self-Diagnostics Test: Notes

The trip computer self-diagnostics consists of 5 tests. The self-diagnostic cycle starts with Test 1. The sequence of tests from that point on is determined by which switch is depressed.

Entering Trip Computer Self-Diagnostics

Turn ignition switch to RUN position while depressing TRIP/TIME and RESET switches simultaneously.

• Depressing TRIP/TIME switch initiates Test 2 when ENGLISH/METRIC switch is in ENGLISH position.
• Depressing TRIP/TIME switch initiates Test 3 when ENGLISH/METRIC switch is in METRIC position.
• Depressing FUEL/TEMP switch initiates Test 4 when ENGLISH/METRIC switch is in ENGLISH position.
• Depressing FUEL/TEMP switch initiates Test 5 when ENGLISH/METRIC switch is in METRIC position.
