  2. Check for battery voltage at terminal "P" of left side pod assembly, with dimmer switch in DIM position. If battery voltage is not present, replace left side pod assembly. If battery voltage is present, circuit is okay. Go to step 3).
  3. Check for battery voltage at terminal "S" of left side pod, with dimmer switch in the BRIGHT position. If battery voltage is not present, replace left side pod. If battery voltage is present, circuit is okay. Go to step 4).
  4. Check voltage at terminal D10 of light module, with dimmer switch in the DIM position. If voltage reading is 1.7 volts, circuit is okay. Go to step 5). If voltage reading is not 1.7 volts, repair open circuit between terminal D10 and dimmer switch.
  5. Check voltage at terminal C9 of light module, with dimmer switch in the BRIGHT position. If voltage reading is 3.7 volts, circuit is okay. Go to step 6). If voltage reading is not 3.7 volts, repair open circuit between terminal C9 and dimmer switch.
  6. Check for battery voltage at terminal D16 of vehicle maintenance module. See Figure . If battery voltage is not present, repair open circuit between fuse No. 13, circuit wire and terminal D16. If battery voltage is present, circuit is okay. Go to step 7).
  7. Check for battery voltage at terminals D7 and D8 of light module. See Fig 1 . If battery voltage is not present, replace light module. If battery voltage is present, circuit is okay. Go to step 8).
  8. Check for battery voltage at terminals No. 22 and 23 of fuse block. If battery voltage is not present, repair open circuit between light module and fuse block. If battery voltage is present, circuit is okay. Go to step 9).
  9. Check for battery voltage at power supply circuit, leading to instrument cluster components. If battery voltage is not present, repair open circuit between fuses No. 13 and 14 and instrument cluster. If battery voltage is present, circuit is okay. Go to step 10).
  10. Remove power from circuit. Check continuity between instrument cluster components and ground. If continuity is present, circuit is okay. If continuity is not present, repair open circuit between cluster and ground.
