Crankshaft & Main Bearings

Main bearing caps must be installed with arrow mark pointing toward timing belt end of engine. Main bearing cap assembly containing the letter "F" goes on the front 2 journals, near the timing belt end of crankshaft. Main bearing cap assembly containing the letter "R" goes on the rear 2 journals near the flywheel end of crankshaft. Ensure crankshaft end play is within specification.
