Wheel Bearing (Colt, Colt 200 & Summit): Removal
- Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel assembly. On vehicles equipped with disc brakes, disconnect parking brake cable and brake hose, and remove tube bracket. Remove brake disc and caliper assembly. Support and set caliper aside.
- On all models, remove hub cap and wheel bearing nut. Remove outer wheel bearing race. Remove hub assembly or brake drum. Remove inner oil seal and bearing. Remove bearing races using a brass drift.
