Shock Absorbers (Colt Wagon): Installation

If busing needs replacing, press bushing out of rod using Bushing Remover/Installer (MB990651). Press in new bushing with tool. Ensure bushing protrudes equally on each side.
To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. On 4WD models, install bracket and damper 3.5-3.6" (89-91 mm) from center of right side lateral rod bushing. Tighten all fasteners to specification. See appropriate TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS table at end of article.
